Steel Cord/Wire Rope Inspection Belt conveyors are widely used in mining and cement industries, seaports and steel plants. Failure of the steel cord belt stops the production flow, requires much time for repair and so results in losses. In the same way, ropes deteriorate and their residual strength reduces during their life. Ropes should be periodically inspected and timely discarded.
